About Align Yoga

For me, yoga is where clarity begins through alignment of body, mind and breath. It’s where I feel most connected to myself, to others, and to the energy we share. Align Yoga was born from that sense of community - a space to move with awareness and find balance together.

Welcome to Align Yoga. I’m Jacqueline, a yoga teacher based in Amsterdam.

For almost a decade, I worked at Nike in digital brand marketing, and in my last role my focus was on holistic wellbeing where I collaborated with global coaches and trainers to create workouts and breathwork programs that explored the connection between body and mind. The deeper I went into this world of holistic fitness, the more I realized: this is where I belong.

So I resigned to travel through Asia where I completed my 200-hour Vinyasa teacher training with YogaUnion in Bali in 2023. That course changed everything. Surrounded by people who shared the same curiosity for movement, energy, and mindfulness, I felt an immediate sense of belonging. It was there that I began to understand yoga not just as something we do, but as a way of being: it’s all connected.

In 2025, I deepened my practice with a 50-hour Yin Yoga training in Greece. Yin taught me the essence of slowing down and listening - to my body, my breath, and the quiet space within. It’s a lesson I carry with me, both on and off the mat.

Align Yoga emerged from a desire to share this journey with others. The name reflects what yoga truly means to me - alignment of body, mind, and energy. In my classes, I aim to help students find calm through movement, move with intention and breath, and explore the balance between strength and softness. Alignment goes beyond postures; it’s about tuning inwards and doing what feels right for your body.

I currently teach at the beautiful studios of Renessence and SportCity Cornelis Schuyt in Amsterdam, and I’m always looking for ways to connect with others through yoga - whether that’s flowing in Vondelpark, teaching during a four-day hike in Peru, or practicing at sunset on the beaches of San Blas.

I’m committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive space for everyone. If you’d like to join me for a class, collaborate, or simply connect, I’d love to hear from you. You can find my weekly schedule and class details on the classes page.
